Description
A family set sail for a day's cruising on a narrowboat from Goytre Wharf along the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal. Goytre Wharf is an industrial heritage site on the edge of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales in the United Kingdom. Situated on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal near Abergavenny it has some of the best preserved lime kilns in the country. In the 1960s the canal was restored and the wharf became a base for private and hire leisure craft. Today there is a large mooring basin and it also has a heritage centre, wonderful country walks through forested areas with an abundance of wildlife.

Looks like great fun.
Steve Purnell replied:
Many thanks Carl. Yes, it does, although I've never done it the idea has fascinated me for years.
