Artist's Description
Standing near Carew Castle, Carew Tidal Mill dates back to the 16th century although the present building was constructed at the beginning of the 19th century. Work at the mill ceased in 1937 and the building lay derelict until the early 1970's when it was renovated and opened to the public as a museum piece.
