Dare Valley Country Park is situated just outside Aberdare in Rhondda Cynon Taf in the United Kingdom on a site reclaimed from old coal tips, remnants of the mining industry in the area. This image, taken in the autumn, was blessed with a magnificent sky.

Many thanks again Elaine. Yes, indeed, there are several country parks in this area that have been reclaimed from old coal mines and the coal tips associated with them. :)
