The pavilion at Penarth Pier, Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom. The pavilion has recently undergone a £4 million refurbishment which has transformed the old duck egg blue roof to a new silver colour with a fish scale pattern. The new complex includes a cinema and cafes. Penarth Pier lies just a few miles west of Cardiff in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales and is the jewel of the crown of this seaside resort. It is situated on the Bristol Channel which has the second highest tidal range in the world. It has been a hugely popular destination for holidaymakers and day trippers since Victorian times and is known as “The Garden by the Sea”

Many thanks Debbie. I was hoping that the boardwalk would be a bit wetter than it was given the amount of rain that fell and that I could have caught some reflections too, Hey ho, that's for another day. lol
