Description
The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway lies on the edge of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains in South Wales. Trains run from Blaenavon High Level to Furnace Sidings and Whistle Inn and there is also a branch line that goes to Big Pit Halt. The railway was resurrected by enthusiastic volunteers in 1980 with trains starting to run there in 1983.
